MERTİZ OFSET AMBALAJ QUALITY POLICY

As MERTİZ OFSET AMBALAJ, operating in the food packaging manufacturing sector, we undertake to follow modern technological developments; prioritise communication and training to enhance the knowledge and skills of our employees; ensure hygienic conditions at every stage of production; meet the needs and expectations of our customers; fulfil all responsibilities undertaken towards our customers; communicate food safety information to and/or request such information from public authorities, consumers and suppliers; and provide high-quality, hygienic products.

Accordingly, we undertake to comply with applicable legal requirements and the requirements of the FSSC 22000 standard, continually improve the effectiveness of our product safety and quality culture, and ensure the implementation of the following sub-policies:

To identify and control physical, chemical and biological food safety hazards at every stage of the products we provide to our customers and to ensure that our products are manufactured in compliance with health and hygiene requirements.

Entry into production areas without workwear, protective clothing or a hairnet is prohibited. Protective clothing must be worn in production areas and other designated areas where a potential risk may arise. Jewellery must not be worn while working in production areas. Work coats must be clean, and hairnets must be worn so as to cover the hair and ears completely. The cleanliness of work coats is ensured through the practices implemented by our company.

Smoking and the consumption of food or beverages are prohibited in our production and storage areas and changing rooms. Warning signs are displayed in clearly visible locations. Visitors and contractors are required to comply with this rule.

Visitors and suppliers may enter our production areas only after putting on designated visitor coats and hairnets and completing the visitor control checklist.

To prevent foreign materials that may cause physical contamination in our production areas, unnecessary glass, brittle plastic, wood and wire materials have been removed from use. Existing glass and brittle plastic materials are protected. Where their use is unavoidable, specially designed utility knives are used and inspected regularly.

Under no circumstances does our company engage in the counterfeiting or adulteration of the products it manufactures. Suppliers are selected in accordance with a food fraud risk assessment, and our company does not work with suppliers that have attempted or engaged in counterfeiting or adulteration.
